Renton Farmers Market opens for season 21 at Piazza Park on June 7
The market will feature a wide variety of local farms, businesses and artisans.
The Renton Farmers Market will open its 21st season in downtown Renton at Piazza Park at 523 S. Third St. on Tuesday, June 7 at 3:00 p.m.
Visitors will be able to buy locally grown flowers, fruit and vegetables; fresh baked goods; meats and cheeses; wines; mead; ciders; and handmade crafts.
Vendors attending the market include: Brewmasters Bakery, Beana’s Hand Pies, Macadons, Sidhu Farms, Trevani Truffles, Puget Sound Cider Company and many others. The marketplace maintains a current list of vendors here.
Washington State University Master Gardeners will be at the market each week to answer garden-related questions as well.
The market is not operating under any COVID restrictions.
Free parking is available in the nearby downtown parking garage at 655 South 2nd St. The market is also adjacent to the Renton Transit Center for easy access by public transportation.
In addition to the opening day, the market has several “themed days” scheduled, including: Pop-Up with a Cop on June 14 and July 12, Children’s Day on June 28, Wellness Day on July 26, the national night on August 26. 2, Farmers Market Week on August 9, Senior Day on August 23, Kids Passport Awards on August 30, Blue Tuesday on September 6 and Cedar River Salmon Journey on September 20 and September 27.
