From COVID to monkey pox | Shiers

After previously identifying a suspected case of monkeypox in King County, on May 27 it was confirmed to be monkey pox, according to the Washington State Department of Health. The person with smallpox did not require hospitalization and is recovering at home, according to the Department of Health. Seattle-King County Public Health officials are continuing to identify people who may have been exposed.
